How It Works

When the three-phase power supply is interrupted, the pump stops. When power is restored, the Geo Make Auto Switch detects the incoming supply and checks the phase condition.

After the Power ON delay, the switch allows the Star Delta starter to operate and automatically starts the pump.

The delay helps avoid immediate motor starting when power returns, particularly in areas where the power supply may fluctuate or return intermittently.

If an incorrect phase sequence or single-phasing condition is detected, the protection system prevents the pump from operating, helping reduce the risk of motor damage.

Protection Functions

1. Automatic Restart

After a power failure, the pump can automatically restart when the power supply returns. This is especially useful for agricultural pumps where continuous or unattended operation is required.

2. Power-On Delay

The starting delay is 1 minute. This gives time for the incoming electrical supply to stabilize before the pump is started.

3. Phase Sequence Protection

The unit checks the phase sequence before allowing the pump to operate. This helps prevent the motor from running in the wrong direction due to incorrect phase sequence.

4. Single-Phasing Protection

If one phase is missing, the Auto Switch prevents the pump from operating under the faulty supply condition, helping protect the three-phase motor.
